Daniel C. Martin is a proud native of Omaha, Nebraska with a strong drive to represent the hardworking people of the community. The firstborn son to a Chicana mother, Daniel spent his early years learning about his raices (roots), watching his abuela make corn tortillas by hand and watching telenovelas with her but never understanding the actors.
So, during high school and his time at Metropolitan Community College and the University of Nebraska-Omaha (UNO), Daniel set out to connect more strongly to his Mexican heritage through the Spanish language. Along this journey, Daniel has been blessed with many opportunities to perform “service learning” – volunteering time and effort to those who need it most and building a stronger connection with the community through service.
Whether it be tutoring young students in Andahuaylillas, Perú, helping indigenous women to create start-up businesses for themselves in Oaxaca, Mexico, or coaching youth sports teams in Omaha, Daniel takes great joy in helping people to see their true potential. As an attorney, he focuses on guiding clients along the pathway to justice, ensuring that their rights are recognized and their voices are heard.
