Cesar is an assistant at Pesek Law. Coming to the U.S. as a Salvadoran immigrant with his mother at only two years old, Cesar studied through Fremont Public Schools. His parents found jobs in the meat-packing plants. There, Cesar was President of Multicultural Club and captain of the debate team. Cesar loves public speaking and following politics, and now studies at the University of Nebraska Omaha, where he received a full-ride scholarship and participates for MavForensics (speech and debate). Cesar has received numerous awards for his participation in public speaking. Cesar is aiming for his Bachelor’s degree in Latino/Latin-American Studies. Ultimately, his goal is earn his Law Degree from the University of Nebraska College of Law and work as an immigration and worker’s-compensation attorney.
Cesar started at Pesek Law as an intern in January of 2016, and he has been an assistant for more than a year. In the summer, Cesar works full-time. Due to his studies, he works part-time during the regular school months. In the office, Cesar is normally responsible for completing immigration forms, renewing DACA paperwork, and maintaining the worker’s compensation claims.
During his free time, Cesar practices his speeches for MavForensics, plays soccer, and volunteers for various campaigns and politically-involved organizations. He is a major Arsenal and Barcelona fan. Although he lives in Omaha, he makes time every week to visit his parents in Fremont. On Sundays in the summer, he can be found serving as an assistant referee at the Schuyler Sunday League.
