John DeWald has a bachelor’s degree from Creighton University and a Juris Doctorate from Creighton’s College of Law. At Pesek Law, John focuses on personal injury and immigration cases. John has extensive experience as an immigration lawyer, handling cases from family petitions to defense of removal proceedings.
John has license to practice in the states of Nebraska and Iowa. John is also an active member of the community and provides free consultations at the Pesek Law legal clinic every Monday, he also volunteers as the Attorney of the Day once a month to defend minors in immigration hearings for asylum or juvenile visas, and works closely with the Mexican Consulate in Omaha to provide guidance and initial legal advice to Mexican nationals that come to the Consulate to obtain/process paperwork.
