The 2022 Veranda Party raised $27,023! We are thankful for our supporter’s generosity at this year’s fundraiser to benefit the True Potential Scholarship. We are grateful that our speaker and 2015 scholarship recipient, Luis Olivas, gave an amazing testimony by sharing his story of perseverance and determination, navigating not just higher education but also the immigration system.

This year we are granting 35 scholarships, the most in a single year, to immigrant and refugee students in Nebraska and Iowa, 34 of which will go to a Community College and 1 to Wayne State.
