Josephine Ramage
Biography
Associate Attorney Josephine Ramage knew she wanted to be a bilingual attorney since high school when she started learning Spanish. Originally from Plattsmouth and Nebraska City, NE she went to Augustana University in South Dakota. There, she studied Spanish and Government with an emphasis in Pre-Law.
During law school, she worked with Legal Aid of Nebraska on the Agricultural Worker Rights Project. As part of the AWRP team, she traveled through the state of Nebraska to visit seasonal migrant workers in the fields and farms. Her team offered agricultural workers legal services to protect their human rights and fight against employee rights violations. Josephine also worked on immigration cases as a student attorney at the UNL Immigration Clinic.
While she enjoyed gaining experience in other areas of law, she knew she wanted to advocate for clients through civil litigation. In 2024, Josephine joined
PESEK LAW as a law clerk during her last two years of law school. She became an associate attorney at
PESEK LAW in January 2026 and holds an Iowa law license.
What Josephine loves most about being a bilingual attorney is providing comfort and guidance to clients during the most difficult times in their lives. From her family’s own experience with a catastrophic injury, she empathizes with clients that are processing through a life-altering event. Josephine strives to create a space for clients to feel deeply understood and advocated for.
